I continued to work on both of these pieces a bit - some minor tweaks to Camel, and some major ones to Journey. I'm happier with both, but personally like Camel better of the two...
These are wonderful Terry. The colors appear richer in your revisions, particularly in the blankets and the groundwork in journey. I see what you mean about Camel speaking to you more- how can you not feel connected to that camel's welcoming face!
Thanks all - I was off hiking in Sabino Canyon, Arizona, so didn't get your comments posted till today, but I do appreciate them! "Camel" seems to be everyone's favorite; I've submitted it for a juried show, so hopefully the jurors will like him too...
